This is preparation and paint, not a replaster. On the first call we ask which rooms or which outside walls, and what condition the surfaces are in.

How a decorating job is arranged.

Describe the rooms or the outside of the property, and the condition of the surfaces. A location and a few photos are enough to start.

Agree the finish
We confirm the preparation, the areas, and the coats. The quotation is free. You can compare it before you commit.

Prepare and paint
The agreed surfaces are prepared and painted. We leave the area as tidy as the work allows and tell you when it can be used.
Inside or outside
A room that needs decorating and the outside of a house are different jobs. Inside, we need to know about furniture, carpets, and whether the walls are sound enough to paint. Outside, we need to know the height, the access, and whether the surface is bare, flaking, or already painted.
If the walls need plastering or dry lining before they will take paint, we say so. That work is quoted as plastering, not hidden inside a decorating price.
What we agree before we start
The quotation names the rooms or elevations, the preparation, and what is left out. You should hear how long the rooms need to be clear, and when the paint can be touched.
Photos of the walls, and a note of any date you are working towards, make the first conversation useful.
